Large dialled Hamilton
I bought this watch for my husband , who has poor vision, because it has a large uncluttered dial which is easy for him to read. He has always been a lover of well made attractive watches, of which he had quite a few before he developed his sight problem, so it was a big blow to him when he could no longer use them. He was always an admirer of Hamilton watches because of their looks and the good quality and of course their good reputation. We saw pictures of the larger dialled Hamilton watches in the catalog use but were unable to locate them here in England. We were delighted to discover them on the Ashford site and very impressed with the level of service. The watch arrived in 6 days (quicker than it would have had we ordered it from an England) beautifully packaged.
My husband was very pleased with the watch and the level of service provided by Ashford.

Great watch at a great price
I had been shopping for a Hamilton for quite some time. Had looked at the Khaki Navy's and considered, but just didn't seem "the one". Ashford had a great sale and I purchased. I love the size, the face and overall look of the watch. Only one complaint, the band is about 1/2" too short, it is wearable, but hard to get on sometimes.

I just bought this watch but I do not know how to change the time. I did read the instruction and pull out the crown completely to position 2. But the crown is hard to pull out. I do not want to break it. How can I do?

You're not pulling hard enough. If you pull the crown out trying to set the time because you couldn't get it to pull out to position 2, then return it to Ashford.Age: 35-44

It is a screw type crown. Turn it counter-clockwise until it pops out a bit, then pull it out to position 1 or 2 depending on what you need to do. Then when you are done, press it in while turning it clockwise to lock it in place. This is also necessary to make sure it is in a waterproof mode.Age: 55-65

You will not break the watch.I too just recieved the same watch and what I did was unscrew the crown a little,pulled It out and adjusted the time,for the date just push in half way and turn crown.Its that easy.Hoped that helped.Cheers.Age: 35-44
