The Ventura was first produced by Hamilton in the 1950's and was the world's first battery powered watch. The originals are highly collectible. Hamilton has re-released the classic Ventura with a modern, highly accurate Swiss-quartz movement, but the iconic triangular case is faithful to the original Hamilton Ventura, one of the legends of 20th century watch design. The Hamilton Ventura's dial is available in black or mother-of-pearl and sports a unique line-and-dot "electric" design at the hour markers.
