Movado, JR. Sport, Ladies, Stainless Steel, Stainless Steel Bracelet, Quartz Movement.
The Movado Junior Sport displays Movado's legendary black Museum dial on its face. Defined by a single dot at 12 representing the sun at high noon, the museum dial is regarded as an icon of Modernism.
It was designed by Bauhaus-influenced artist Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. When Horwitt's dial was selected for the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in 1960, it was the first watch dial ever awarded this distinction. The name "Museum Watch" derives from this recognition.
The Movado Junior Sport's Museum dial is complemented by a case with classic sports contours and a newly refined bracelet. Boldly crafted in bright/brushed stainless steel, the Movado Junior Sport comfortably fastens to your wrist with a safety bar deployment clasp. Driven by precision Swiss-quartz movement and protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, this beautiful Movado creation is water resistant to 30m.
