Blancpain, Villeret, Ladies, 18K White Gold, Leather, Automatic Movement.
Nestled not far from Bienne in the rolling Jura uplands, the then-tiny hamlet of Villeret nearly three centuries ago saw the birth of an exceptionally distinguished horological dynasty and, later, watch brand, called Blancpain.
It was in a solid Villeret farmhouse that one day in 1735 Jean-Jacques Blancpain laid the foundations of the Blancpain company as it exists today. Bearing the name of Blancpain's birthplace, the Villeret Collection naturally typifies its roots, its earliest design choices. Crisp, clean lines, trim dial faces and sleekly styled case profiles compose studies in simplicity and essential refinement.
I bought Blancpain, Villeret 6102-1590-55, as a gift, and I have to say I was a little nervous at first! Needless to say, everything worked out great! I recieved my watch [...]and it looked better than the picture! Brand new, working, and worth every penny! I will be watch shopping here for the rest of my days.......
