Movado, Timema, 0605359, Women's, Quartz Movement
The Movado Timema looks like no other timepiece in the world. Incredibly iconic and immediately recognizable, the Timema can add post-modern grace and sophistication to any woman's wrist. Its deeply elongated asymmetrical case is crafted from solid stainless steel, and is available with or without diamonds. The Timema, presented on an elegant bangle bracelet, features the legendary Movado Museum dial.
Defined by a single dot at 12 representing the sun at high noon, the museum dial is regarded as an icon of Modernism. It was designed by Bauhaus-influenced artist Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. When Horwitt's dial was selected for the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in 1960, it was the first watch dial ever awarded this distinction. The name "Museum Watch" derives from this recognition.
The Movado Timema is protected with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and is reliably driven by precision Swiss-quartz movement.
