Over a century ago, in the year 1901, Shogoro Yoshida opened a watch shop in Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, he expanded his business and started producing gold watch cases. In 1950, the company mass-produced its first wristwatch, named the “New Orient”. Its immediate success cemented the brand’s future and the company rebranded itself as the Orient Watch company. Later that same year, the brand introduced their famed Orient Star watch and quickly earned distinction in the luxury watch market.

During the quartz crisis in the 1970s, many companies opted for cheaply made battery-powered alternatives. However, the Orient Watch company remained true to its core values. Utilizing the most advanced Japanese engineering, the brand promises luxuriously refined styles that boast precision and dependability.

Orient watches for men and women serve up timeless beauty combined with quality craftsmanship. With features including automatic movement, chronograph functionality, and dive watch capability, there is truly something for everyone.
